New Old Stock (NOS) in the original distressed boxes, although the boxes are dirty the contents are new and perfect. Complete with instructions.
We have Two (2) sizes, either 2-1/2" or 3" both with grooved piping connections. These are easily converted from 90 degrees to a straight connection by rotating the flange, instructions are included. Most facilities like the 90 degree connection because it eliminates an elbow but you can rotate if desired. Both will be shipped with them as they came from the factory in the 90 degree elbow position. The 2-1/2" valve is still sealed in the original packaging, the 3" valve is the one that the pictures were taken (new but open box). Both valves are in perfect condition.
Pick the size and model during purchase by using the drop down list.
This listing is for ONE (1)

From the manufacturer:
With the
Armstrong ABV-G and ABV-A Balancing Valves
you can now change a 90° angle valve to a straight pattern on site. Likewise, you can switch straight patterns to angle valves all with standard tools and with no additional parts. Valves from 2-1/2" to 12" are furnished with industry-standard grooved ends.
Using exclusive convertible design the
Armstrong ABV-G and ABV-A Balancing Valves
have a split innovative valve body on a 45° angle. Four body bolts secure the valve. Rotating half the body 180˚ produces a 90° change in flow direction. Therefore, all valves are field-convertible to straight or 90° angles, regardless of how they were furnished originally. Field conversion does not affect accuracy of the valve.
Armstrong's unique hand wheel is ergonomically designed for maximum operator comfort and fine-tuning control. An adjustable range of 360° turns provides leverage against water pressure and extraordinary precision in hydronic circuit balancing.
Gradations on the micrometer-type position indicator are large and clear for easy viewing. The hand wheel and indicator can be located in any of six positions, making the indicator readable by simply repositioning the numbered scales. The hand wheel assembly is engineered for exceptional strength, corrosion resistance and dimensional stability.
And it remembers, too. The valve also has a positive memory feature. After being closed in order to service equipment, the valve can be reopened to the same exact balance set point. The memory may be set without special tools, and it is tamper-proof because the hand wheel hides access to it.
